Marketplace rules
To keep Shadow Market safe and trusted for everyone, all sellers must follow these rules. Violations may result in product removal, payout holds, or account termination without refund.
Allowed
- Handmade, designed and branded goods.
- New or pre-owned items in a clearly described condition.
- Digital downloads with a valid license.
- Apparel, accessories, art, home decor, and electronics.
Prohibited
- Illegal goods or services of any kind.
- Counterfeit products and unauthorised replicas.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or related accessories.
- Drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia.
- Tobacco, vaping products, alcohol (without applicable licenses).
- Live animals or human remains.
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content.
- Sexually explicit material.
- Personal data sold without consent.
- Anything that violates EU regulations or third-party rights.
Seller responsibilities
- Describe products honestly. Use your own photos where possible.
- Ship within the time you advertise. Provide a tracking number.
- Respond to customer messages within 48 hours.
- Comply with your local consumer protection and tax laws.
- Do not attempt to bypass the 15% commission by directing customers off-platform.
Buyer responsibilities
- Provide accurate shipping information.
- Contact the seller first if anything is wrong with your order.
